Refine Your Smile

A Beautiful, Healthy Smile

Cosmetic dentistry is so much more than just aesthetics! Creating a more beautiful smile also helps save neighboring teeth and creates greater ease in caring for your gums and teeth.

For example, is a dental crown cosmetic or restorative? It’s both. It creates a durable tooth and a beautiful smile. It also helps stimulate and preserve the jawbone and creates a more even bite, which also helps prevent uneven enamel wear.

Our patients are looking for everything from simple teeth whitening to total smile makeovers. Whatever the needs, our approach to cosmetic dentistry is as custom, caring, and effective as everything else we do at Renew Dental.

Whether your smile only needs a few expert touches or requires a more comprehensive treatment like a smile makeover, our dentists consider your goals and concerns before beginning, and we do our best to make sure you feel as good about the end result as we do.

Teeth Whitening

Sometimes simple whitening is all you need to restore your smile! We whiten teeth in one of two ways. In-office whitening is performed in one appointment, followed by at-home maintenance using custom bleaching trays. In-office whitening is a good choice for those stubborn, deep stains that don’t respond well to take-home bleaching. The second option is a take-home bleaching kit. With this option, we create clear, custom-fit bleaching trays for you to use at home with a special-strength bleaching gel.

Popular, safe, and effective, teeth whitening has given patients across the world a reason to smile. Your appearance can affect you socially and emotionally—it can even impact your workplace success! People who smile with confidence are viewed as warm, inviting, and beautiful. With professional whitening systems, you can achieve the same pearly whites as magazine models and movie stars.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. I put it off for 10 years. I finally went to Renew and I am so glad I did. They did an amazing job on my new implants and my bridge. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend this dentist any time someone asks.

Porcelain Veneers

Many people consider a smile a first impression, and when your smile isn’t what you want, it can really affect the way you feel about yourself and the way you present yourself to others. Porcelain veneers are an excellent option for those who wish to achieve that perfect smile in a short amount of time, and Drs. George and Doris Marquis can help you achieve your smile dreams.

Porcelain veneers are a simple, minimally invasive cosmetic dental option that allows you to have the perfect Hollywood smile. The journey to your perfect smile begins with an evaluation with your dentist. This way they can fully assess your smile in its current state, evaluate your oral health, and ask you about your smile goals.

During treatment, your doctor prepares your teeth, then bonds custom-made dental veneers in place to brighten up your smile. The entire process is painless and usually takes no longer than a few hours.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

For years, silver fillings were commonplace in dentistry. As dental materials have improved, our office has moved away from silver fillings and prefers to use tooth-colored fillings instead. Tooth-colored fillings, commonly called “composites” in the dental world, are made from a resin-based material. Our team stays abreast of the latest composite techniques to provide you with beautiful, seamless results.

Bonding

When your teeth only need minor corrections in shape or color, bonding may be a great solution. Bonding is a similar process to a tooth-colored filling. The tooth is slightly modified, and composite material is chemically bonded to the tooth. Bonding is a same-day treatment and is minimally invasive. The materials used in bonding, though strong, are not as strong as natural tooth structure and may need to be replaced in time, depending on oral hygiene and habits.

Fixed Bridges

If you’ve lost teeth due to an accident, injury, or gum disease, we can create a permanent bridge to restore your solid smile. A bridge fills the gap and prevents your remaining teeth from shifting. It can also correct a misaligned bite, improve chewing function, aid speech articulation, and provide internal structure for the face to give you a more youthful appearance.

Clear Aligners

Misaligned teeth are common, yet they cause difficulty in caring for your teeth and gums. Misalignment can also cause pain. Worst of all, you may hide your smile or feel a lack of confidence in social situations. And if you’re an adult, you might feel that orthodontic treatment is for kids and teens, not adults.

This is why many people are turning to clear aligners, an alternative to traditional braces that uses the latest in dental technology.

By using this revolutionary system, you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing! The plastic aligners are custom made for each patient. Patients only take them out for meals and normal oral hygiene care (brushing, flossing, etc.).

Each set of aligners moves your mouth just a little bit closer to your goal until you’re ready for the next set! Some patients need only 12 sets of aligners; others require as many as 24 sets. It all depends on how much correction your teeth need when you start treatment. A typical treatment plan lasts anywhere from six months to two years before complete correction is achieved. Once finished, everything remains aligned with the help of retainers and regular dental visits.

Clear aligners are a dream come true for adults who have lived with misaligned teeth their entire lives. Clear aligners are an advancement in orthodontics that allows you to enjoy life without metal braces and still receive your desired result.

Remember that having straight teeth is attainable at any age, and you don’t have to settle for anything less than your perfect smile!
